I keep forgetting to tell you guys about the website I created for my new commercial project downtown. Check it out at: slcofficecondos.com. I'd be interested in your feedback regarding clarity and ease of operation. Hope everyone has a great time tonight. I'll be dressed as an adult passing out candy to kids...:-) Post your pictures!!!

Love you all - Dave

Hi guys! We are excited about the new addition! We are also very excited about Halloween tomorrow. Kloey can't stop talking about her "futterfwy." (It's actually tinkerbell from Peter Pan, but she's content with a butterfly) We'll be sure to post some pics and videos from the big night! And Grandma, Kloey said that your new furniture is "SO CUTE!!" I'll try to teach her the word "classy!" Have a great day everyone! Loves, Jenn Posted by Picasa

Blizzard!

This is our blizzard at 8:30 this morning. It is now 11:00 and there is quite a bit more snow. I'll take more pictures when it quits snowing. This is the worst storm the area has had since 1997. Everything is closed - all schools, government offices, courts, the airport, restaurants, some roads (including the interstate), malls, stores.... These pictures may not look too serious, but we are in south Colorado Springs, where it isn't as bad. It is pretty bad up north. They have a foot or more of snow.

I didn't put her there I swear! She decided that she wanted to nestle herself inside my sweatshirt for her nap.

Psycho picture

My husband looks like Fred Flinstone, El has a pretty narly scowl, and Willis looks possesed. Oh, I love my babies!

Shon's influence on the dogs.

The dogs don't know where to pee. It's all white, so they don't know the difference between the deck now, or down the stairs to the lawn. Great. Andy (Shon's dog) pee'd on the right. I don't know who pee'd in the middle. I think it was Steve's dog. My dog's are smarter than that.

More snow.

Here is the snow at 10:00 tonight. We've got a few inches.

Dave, sounds like you had a great 50th! We were so excited for you to go on your "suprise" trip and we are glad you had a good time. Sorry we weren't there to celebrate with you and eat all of that food, but we did have an awesome weekend prior. Thanks for coming up to go riding.....we definitely need to do that AGAIN! And congrats on closing your big deal...that is fantastic news! We love and miss you all and hope everyone is well. Talk to you soon. Love, Jenn Posted by Picasa

Joey's 1st buck!!! Joey went hunting this last weekend and shot this deer first thing Saturday morning. It has been entered into the "biggest buck" contest (or something like that) He is pretty excited about it, as he should be...this this is HUGE!!! Hooked up and flyin' high.

About Dave's 50th:

This has been the best birthday ever! Maybe that's because it's been going on and on and on... Kerri's plan to kidnap me was brilliantly conceived - I didn't have a clue about anything all weekend long. We drove to Vegas and then took our helicopter flight early the next morning. It was a perfect day to fly and we were amazed at the sight of the Valley of Fire, the Grand Canyon and Hoover Dam. We flew for 2.5 hours - plenty of time to take it all in - very cool. Then we went off to a "massage" that actually turned out to be a clever meeting with our friends from So Cal - Daryl & Renee. We really enjoyed catching up with them and goofing off. It was a fabulous weekend that I'll always remember. Then we had our party at the house last night - lots of friends and good food. And THE BOOK - what an amazing piece of work! I finally had time tonight to sit down and go through it page by page. Thanks to Karli and Erik for all your hard work in putting that wonderful keepsake together. We're going to order 4 more so that each of my kids can have their own copy. I think that's one of the most memorable gifts I've ever received. And if that wasn't enough, I signed a huge downtown commercial deal on Monday after nearly a month of negotiations and meetings. The payoff will come next year when we sell off the space, but it will be worth the wait. Oh - and I scored an incredible deal on a new road bike that will keep me competitive for the next few seasons - all carbon fiber, very light, fast, rigid and super comfortable. So it's been a good couple of weeks. Thanks to all of you for your wishes and gifts - I've felt pretty good about turning 50.
