Avery loves her new princess book. We have to keep a close eye on her though to make sure she doesn't color or destroy it. She has a real talent for that....

Princess Tea Party
This was the first ever Princess Tea Party that Grandma will be having with all her little princesses. Here she was teaching Kloey how to hold the cup properly. Kloey loved the party! Grandma plans to buy complete princess outfits for the many parties she will be hosting at the Fish Palace.
The Beautiful Table
Joey and Dave kept sneaking off throughout the weekend supposedly getting more gifts. In reality, Joey was just finishing up the lacquering, sanding, etc. on this beautiful kitchen table he built for Jenn. She was so surprised Christmas morning! I think her words were "shut up!"

Some December Photos from the Hughes'
Our new Christmas tree. The is kind of a funny story. To make it short, Erik saw this tree (pre-lit artificial) at Home Depot, and he had to have it. EVERY Home Depot from here to Timbuctoo was out of the tree. So, we finally "settled" and bought one of the floor models - but Erik was able to get a 25% off discount. He just had to have THIS tree!!

Another Birthday Picture

Grandma read Avery her new story book "I'm a Big Sister" before she went to bed. What mom and dad didn't tell grandma was, you don't lay in bed with her! After Grandma walked out, Avery cried for nearly 30 minutes before she fell asleep! And then, she woke up at 4:00 a.m. never to fall back asleep. Church that day was very very long.....
