More of the Zoo

So here is Avery petting the snake and the baby kangaroo. We had so much fun! We went with Avery's friend Kaylee and her mom Kaydee. They get along so well and enjoy playing together and we like to get together and chat. It was a great play date.

I found Ave yesterday sitting in the toy box watching Mary Poppins. She loves to climb inside of everything.

Going to the Zoo

We went to the zoo this week and I took our jogging stroller. The girls were so cute that I had to take a picture! It was such a perfect day. There were only a few cars in the parking lot so we felt like we had the zoo all to ourselves. Avery was able to run around and play. She pet a baby joey (kangaroo) and a snake (yikes!!). She was very brave!! Taylor was a good girl and slept the entire time. We really enjoyed ourselves.

5 years!!!

Today is our 5 year anniversary and I had to show this pic because I knew none of you would believe it. Shon sent me the most beautiful flowers today. I know this was big for him since he is Mr. Practical!!!! Where has the time gone? Five years and 2 kids later....I love you Shon boy :)

Best Friends

Avery loves to climb into Taylors crib and lay beside her. It is so cute. I think Avery secretly misses her crib a little. I hope they stay close friends....

Ave fell asleep in the love sac watching a show. She loves her "wa-wa" which is her name for her blanket! I don't know where she got that one from....

Taylor 3 Months

So I guess I am blog happy!! Here is our little Tay-Tay. She is 3 months old! Where has the time gone? She is such a sweet little baby. She is smiling so much and is trying really hard to giggle. It is the cutest thing ever. She is such a joy and we love her. Shon really bonded with her on our trip to Lake Powell. He loves that she is beginning to interact and respond to him. I will try and send a pic of her smiling but I loved this pic because it shows her BIG blue eyes...

Better late then never!

Okay... so it has taken me forever to post these pics on the blog so I am sorry. Dave... you know how long it takes me to get photos off of my camera so I guess it is better now then never. The Wettstein family has had such a great summer. We have pics from all trips to Utah. Can you tell we miss it there? Anyway, we hope you enjoy.

4th of July

We went to Brighton ski resort the morning of the 4th of July. There was a big breakfast and a fun little parade after. Avery loved her first parade. We still have lots of candy in our pantry that we are trying to hide from her!

On our way home we drove through Aspen. We couldn't believe how many private jets were lined up at the airport. I think we counted 50. It is a different world up there but it is SO beautiful. Some day we will vacation there!!

Summer Fun at Lake Powell

We just returned from our family trip to Lake Powell. We had such a wonderful time. Avery loved playing in the water and getting to know her cousins. Mom loved the rest and relaxation. Daddy loved the wake boarding and surfing and Taylor loved being held all of the time. It was just what the Dr. ordered!!
